New Vision Television Announces the Hiring of David Bird as Corporate Chief Engineer FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Monday, May 5, 2008 NEW VISION TELEVISION ANNOUNCES THE HIRING OF DAVID BIRD AS CORPORATE CHIEF ENGINEER New Vision is very excited to announce that David Bird will be joining our corporate management team as Corporate Chief Engineer. Over his career. David has not only served as a Chief Engineer at KSAS Fox 24 in Wichita and WFTC Fox 29 in Minneapolis, but has also served as Regional Chief Engineer for Clear Channel Television while based out of KTVX ABC4 in Salt Lake City. “David will be a great asset to all of our stations as we transition from analog to digital and look for creative engineering solutions for our operations,” said Steve Spendlove EVP of New Vision Television. David will work out to KOIN CBS, Portland (market #23) much in the same fashion as he did with Clear Channel Television. “I think it’s important as a Corporate Chief to work out of a television station. This has always helped me stay close to daily challenges our operations face,” said Bird.
